Tasting notes: This bright, ruby-red wine reveals an intense, complex aroma on the nose with an elegant bouquet supplied by oak-ageing: notes of fresh ripe fruit are well-balanced by hints of spices, vanilla and toast. A velvety mouthfeel on the palate develops firmly into sensations of well-ripe red fruit, enhancing a powerful, elegant structure with fine tannins. Appreciable toasty notes, vanilla and light balsamic touches appear on the aftertaste, with red fruits highly noticeable, ending with a long, persistent finish.
Food match: One of the easiest wines to match with food. Pairs well with all spanish style dishes; Lamb, pork, red peppers, even works well with spicy dishes.
