Region: Kooyong, Mornington Peninsula
Country: Australia
Abv: 13%
Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir
Tasting notes: This wine offers bright autumn hedgerow fruit (rosehip, elderberry, frosted blackberry) that immediately evokes red Burgundy. And yet it has a dry intensity that we have never encountered in a 'Bourgogne' at this price. This is a terrific, complex Pinot Noir with a profoundness that suggests a far more expensive wine than it really is. Fantastic.
Food match: Meat stews, Coq au Vin
This wine is vegan and biodynamic, it is produced with minimal intervention.
